The KLØR cabinet employs a sophisticated Tapered Quarter Wave Tube (TQWT) design, a transmission line approach that allows the rear wave from the driver to reinforce and extend bass response naturally. Unlike sealed or ported designs, the TQWT gradually releases acoustic energy through a carefully tuned, tapered internal path.
This design eliminates the "one-note bass" character of many ported speakers while providing the deep extension that sealed designs struggle to achieve. The 119-liter internal volume and precision-tuned taper length allow the EMS LB7 driver to reach down to 32 Hz with remarkable control and articulation.
